When can I expect to receive my Wormie?

I am aiming for Shipping the Wormies from my Workshop in Rotterdam, Netherlands for:

  • Orders placed before Sep 27th: Ship October 1st.
  • Orders placed ON/AFTER Sep 27th: Ship Late October

I will update everyone periodically as it becomes more precise. It's also possible that there could be a delay - just the nature of bringing a product to market. I will always communicate the reasons and there is always the opportunity to get a refund in any case.

Once Shipped, depending on your destination country, it will range from 1-5 days (Europe), and 9-23 days (Rest of World). I will send more specific time frames per country closer to Ship Date.

Refundable? In what Way?

I mean 100% fully refundable, no questions asked. I don't like the idea of locking people in to something too harshly, because I am also asking you to take a small leap of faith with me. Even though I am confident you'll be stoked with yoour Wormie, I do like giving you the assurance that you're not stuck.

So, when you make a pre-order you can cancel it for a full refund at any time before the Aug 2024 Ship Date (will communicate the exact date of that in the coming months). Just send me an email or message and I will arrange it immediately.

If you'd like to transfer the money you have paid for a pre-order to another product I am developing in the next 4 months, that is also no problem - just let me know.

Why would I Pre-order instead of just waiting for release?

There is more info on the "Pre-Order" page here, but in short - the pre-order helps fund the development of the product itself, so I can make sure that you receive something that's:

  1. Very good quality,
  2. As sexy as you expect,
  3. Should last a long time.

Can I exchange my purchase for a different product if you release something different in the meantime?

Yes! If you see something that I tease or develop in the coming few months and you prefer that, then we can easily exchange the value you have paid for the new product.

Is it as cool as it looks?

Yes. A Wormie really has a serious presence in a room. Kind of like you have to see it in person. Especially with another 3-4 months of constant product development and improvement. So Yes.

 I don’t just want it to look expensive, I want it to feel expensive. Not just in the physical feel of the materials, but in the ease it goes together, the simplicity of the packaging, the way it just works first time - the list goes on… 

This all takes time, lots of trial and error and also quite a bit of money to make a reality. 

I want to ensure that when you get your Wormie, that it will last for years, and go wherever you go. I have capped the quantity at 100 to make sure I have a realistic chance of delivering this level of quality to you, and also because it makes it something special too.

Discount Schedule

The discount will be tiered, as the Ship Date approaches. This reflects the reality that at the early stages less is known about the lights final form and quality, so therefore people who are willing to put their trust in a relatively unproven concept should be rewarded. Versus later in the process as the Wormie is more refined and more 'certain', it will be less 'risky' to buy and the price should reflect that.

It also helps secure funding earlier rather than later, to expedite the development prcoess, and purchase all of the bulk material orders I will need to make!

Wormies will be discounted according to the following schedule:

  • 40% OFF 1 July - 15 July (2 Weeks) [SOLD OUT]
  • 30% OFF 15 July - 15 August (4 Weeks) [EXTENDED TILL 30 SEP]
  • No Discount - Sep 30 - Onwards
